New Beginnings has resources available to help you stay in your home or move to new housing, whichever is safest and best for you. We know that the housing environment is challenging and we’re here to help. To access any of our housing services, call our 24-hour Helpline.
We can offer flexible funds to help you stay in your safe home or move to new housing by paying for back rent, travel to relocate, move-in costs, utilities or other expenses that might help you get or keep housing.
New Beginnings also offers short-term housing for survivors of all genders, individually or with their children, who have left an abusive relationship and are in danger or face other special challenges to finding housing. Residents can receive a variety of supportive services, including:
- emotional support
- safety planning
- help with accessing community resources
- support for children and parenting
- legal advocacy
- mental health therapy
- help with finding and paying for housing
We can provide referrals to other shelters and community housing resources as well.
