The New Beginnings Ignite Cocktail party will return on Friday, April 23rd. This year, we’ve moved the event online to keep everyone safe, but we promise it will be a blast – you won’t want to miss it! We will widen our reach and host an event that will feature a live and interactive online program, auction, and Fund-A-Need appeal.
Proceeds from Ignite go to furthering the mission of New Beginnings to empower survivors and mobilize community awareness and action to end domestic violence.

The Ignite Cocktail Party is coming to you on three platforms. You’ll need access to all three to take advantage of the full experience.
Remo – Ignite Social Hour at 6:00pm
Remo makes online feel like real life. You can hop from table to table meeting new friends, and catching up with old ones. The party space is designed for easy movement between conversations, just like in-person cocktail parties. Grab a drink and join fellow New Beginnings supporters by clicking here.
When you first log in to Remo, it takes about 30 seconds to make an account with a simple username and password. Once you are logged in, you can upload a profile picture (click on your name in the upper right corner to update your photo) so others can easily find you. Then, you are ready to mingle! Just double click on any “open seat” to move to another table. If you are having any trouble, find one of our volunteers with the New Beginnings lotus flower as their profile pic and they can help.
Remo is best used on a computer with a camera and microphone. Remo is not supported on mobile devices or tablets. See a step by step guide on how to use Remo here.
YouTube Live – Ignite program and Auction at 7:00
YouTube Live can be enjoyed from your mobile phone, tablet, or computer with no restrictions. You will need a basic YouTube account to participate in the YouTube chat (you’ll really want to join the chat, trust us!)

Greater Giving – Bidding on Auction Items and Donating
This will mainly be used during the live show but the auction opens on Thursday, April 22 at noon! You can preview the auction by clicking here and go to the “Get Started” button. You will receive a bidding link to register in Greater Giving. This will allow you to place bids and donate during the event.
